Let's be honest about something most production tutorials won't say out loud: your DAW came loaded with effects, you learned them first, and now they feel like home. That's not a character flaw — it's just how humans work. But comfort and quality aren't the same thing, and in a genre space where sonic identity is everything, relying exclusively on factory-installed tools might be the quietest way to sound like everyone else.
